Yoshinori Tanaka
Lives and works in Tokyo and Kyoto, Japan.
With the theme of overlap between real and virtual called "Street, Ethernet, Field", Tanaka creates art that transforms into social records, by alternating personal memories with stories and myths.
Yoshinori Tanaka founded the artist collective Excalibur in 2007, a pioneer of Japanese pixel art, creating works that tell profound stories through what may initially appear to be simple video game images.
