The Jean Pigozzi Collection Of Contemporary Japanese Art

DIEGO

Born in 1986.
Lives and works in Tokyo.

DIEGO creates abstract paintings that humorously personify everyday objects commonly seen in the city. His “disjointed street expressions” expand the scope of his work from visual arts like painting and murals to graffiti in urban environments and conceptual art. In recent years, he has been an active member of the collective SIDE CORE, involved in curating exhibitions and presenting his own work. Additionally, he directs mural projects for artists from around the world as part of his own mural program.
