Popular Japanese artist Maho Takahashi graduated from the Japan Institute of Design and has previously worked as a lecturer at an art school, while also being active in the creative field as a freelance illustrator and designer.
She has been featured multiple times in the Japanese art collection magazine *Art Collectors* and was named one of the “50 Artists You’ll Definitely Want to Collect.” Her work is influenced by the “Superflat” concept of contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Her compositions often feature a versatile young girl (Anoko), a symbol rooted in the artist’s childhood memories. With exhibitions spanning Tokyo, Shanghai, South Korea, and the Netherlands, she is a highly anticipated rising star in the contemporary art world.
